Come early for the best selection from the EXTRAS table! Even if you didn’t make an order, you can come by to shop the EXTRAS table.

Suwanee Whole Life Co-op:  Group Buy (Pre-order) Heirloom Cantaloupes and Seedless Watermelons (NON GMO and grown organically) from Copperhead Homestead!

ADDITION TO NEWSLETTER:

Group Buy (Pre-order) Heirloom Cantaloupes and Seedless Watermelons (NON GMO and grown organically) from Copperhead Homestead!

Copperhead Homestead will be taking orders this week on the market and will deliver the cantaloupes and watermelons on June 29th just in time for your 4th of July celebration! Place your order this weekend!

Heirloom Cantaloupes – Avail. 27 June – Group Buy
Your grandparents would recognize these heavily netted, pungent cantaloupes! Hand planted, hand picked and grown from heirloom seeds, our cantaloupes boast thick orange fruit and a flavor that’s difficult to match! Cantaloupes are the key ingredient in the old timers’ summer cold remedy: cantaloupe dusted with fresh ground pepper. I prefer mine blended with carrot juice and spinach for a high iron, high vitamin C boost.

Seedless Red Meat Watermelon – Avail. 27 June – Group Buy
There’s nothing like the taste of a watermelon grown in Georgia! Our fertile soil and wonderful summer rains make for the most delicious watermelons in the world. Our melons are hand planted, hand picked, and grown with love. We use the “old fashioned” method of cross pollination, planting seeded melons every 3-4 plants, to created seedless melons without using GMO technology. The bees do all the work! Delivered to you after only 2 days off the vine! Trouble using up an entire melon or wanting melons all year, without having to buy imported, chemical laced melons? Farmers trick—blend and freeze the meat! Because of the high water content, watermelon blends and freezes beautifully! In January, my son has fresh watermelon smoothies or syrup on his breakfast!
