Dawson Local Harvest:  UPDATE AVAILABILITY!

Dawson Harvest for May 19th

HI GUYS!

Just a quick reminder to update your website as needed for this week’s Market!

Thanks
Alan, Market Manager

Duette, FL:  Happy Mother's Day!

We hope you have all had a beautiful, relaxing Mother’s Day.

This week we feature Swiss Chard.

Since the weather is so warm, spinach is going to seed. Swiss chard can be used in any recipe in the place of spinach and has a similar flavor.
In the spectrum of greens, Swiss chard lies between spinach and kale—not as tender as spinach, not as tough as kale. But like spinach, you can easily sauté it in some olive oil in just a few minutes.

Please have a look at what we can offer this week and place your orders.
Thank you.

Happy Mother’s Day! Today is an absolutely beautiful day here in Middle Tennessee and we pray that your blessings flow abundantly!

There are LOTS of new offerings this week!!

First up MILK and BUTTER! I did shout that because it is exciting! Michael from Frontier Family Farm works tirelessly with the Mennonites in his Altamont Community home. They are offering raw, pet cow milk in 1/2 gallon jars. These are grass fed, hormone free, but fed grain treat during milking. 1/2 gallon. if you do not have a jar then there is a $4 jar deposit. Also butter!
Michael will be set up at market each week, through the summer, to help us with deposits, jar exchanges and selling his extra, incredible produce! We thank him so very much for doing this for us!

Simmer and John of Short Mountain Cultures are also to be hugged and thanked for bringing us the offerings from Wise Butter and Nature’s Cornerstone Thanks to all for trying out some of these incredible treats and healthy options. This week, they have added water kefir in 2 different flavors! THE GRAPE IS INCREDIBLE! Ashleigh and I know the owner/maker of Nature’s Cornerstone and have loved his creations for a long time! Jason Provancha is a great local asset!

Botanical Harmony Farm is adding a spray deodorant with Magnesium, witch hazel and aloe! A must-have for summer and it WORKS!
They are also adding herbal bath salts in Energizing Citrus, Floral Lavender/Rose and Eucalyptus/Mint for sore muscles in a small 6 ounce size. Each containing locally grown and/or wild harvested herbs and flowers for an amazing spa bath experience. A blend of several salts including Dead Sea, Himalayan and more are included for the added health benefits they bring.

Alfalfa and Zesty Mix sprouts are back this week and broccoli will be back next week.

Erdmann Farm returns this week with Kale, swiss chard, cut flowers and peas! Welcome back John!

See ya on the porch!
