Market News

Hello!

This week is the first of November – the fall is flying by! Almost time for the holiday busy-ness!

We will not be delivering during Thanksgiving week. Our last delivery before Thanksgiving will be Wednesday, November 16th. We will resume deliveries on November 30th.

Wedge Oak farm is currently taking reservations for their pasture raised turkeys. You can reserve a turkey and pick it up at delivery on November 16th. Bear Creek Farm is also offering a special on whole tenderloins and on rack of lamb for those wanting an alternative option on Thanksgiving!

The Bloomy Rind is off this week, but will return next week!

Also, letting you know that we have a limited supply of beautiful heirloom “Cinderella” pumpkins and decorative heirloom squash available at pick up! These squashes are downright gorgeous for Fall decorating, but are also delicious when cooked and great for pies, soups, and roasted. They are excellent keepers, and should last through the holidays!
They are individually priced based on size, and are available only at pick up!

You have until Tuesday evening to place your order!

Thank you so much for all your support!
See you Wednesday!
John and Tallahassee

ALFN Local Food Club:  The Market Is Open!

Good Morning Everyone!

The market is open and ready for your orders.

ALFN has an exciting opportunity to partner with Grocery Express, a business that delivers your groceries straight to your door. If we move forward, then we would have a way for members to choose “grocery delivery” on our website while placing your order for the week. There would be a fee for members to use this feature, so we are trying to determine how interested you are in having a grocery delivery option. We have created a survey to gather your opinion, and would really appreciate if you could fill it out for us! You can take the survey here – it should only take a few minutes to fill out!

We really appreciate our members and are always looking for new ways to serve you. Everyone enjoy this gorgeous Sunday! We’ll see you next time.

Dawson Local Harvest:  Now NO ANNUAL FEE for the Dawson Local Harvest!!

Dawson Local Harvest for November 4th

NO ANNUAL FEE for The Harvest!

HI EVERYBODY!

LEILANI’S started out as a retail Garden Center 20 years ago in 1997, but over time we have evolved and totally changed, becoming primarily an all-natural, locally-grown Produce farm supplying Local Harvests in Dawson, Cumming, and Suwanee. We know the Dawson Local Harvest is a smaller Market, and we don’t have as large a selection as the big Markets do. Still, we do have excellent organic quality Veggies like Lettuces, Kale, Swiss Chard, Squash, Bok Choi, purple Onions, and lots more, along with things like free-range Meats and Eggs, raw Milk, organic and gluten-free Breads, Desserts, Jams and Jellies, just to name a few.

Many of you have tried us before, maybe liked what you saw, but thought the $25 Membership fee was steep for what you got, and did not elect to become Active Members. We don’t want to lose you as a Customer just because you are concerned about the value of your Membership. So . . .

No Problem! Be a Member for FREE!

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, the Dawson Local Harvest will offer free Memberships! That means NO ANNUAL FEE!

Trial Members can now go forward without an Annual Fee, and Existing Members who paid the annual Fee this year will be given a $25 credit towards future purchases. And New Members can join without any Annual Fee!!

If you love Healthy, and you love Good, we think you’ll find the no-fee Dawson Local Harvest is an exciting idea! Here’s hoping you’ll take advantage of this offer and check out the Dawson Local Harvest again.

THE MARKET IS NOW OPEN!

REMEMBER! You can now order until Tuesday night at 9pm. Pick up your order at Leilani’s Gardens Friday afternoons from 4 to 7pm.

You’ll find the DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST at http://dawsonville.locallygrown.net

We thank you for your interest and support of our efforts to bring you the healthiest, the freshest and the most delicious locally-produced foods possible! We guarantee your satisfaction with all products in the DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST.

Have a happy and healthy week!

The Wednesday Market:  It's That Time Again - Ordering Time!

Good morning.

The Wednesday Market is open for orders. Please place your order by 10 p.m. Monday. Orders are ready for pick up between 3 and 6 p.m. Wednesday. See the website for all of this week’s product offerings. Here is the link: https://wednesdaymarket.locallygrown.net/market

The holidays are just around the corner. I am already planning our family’s Thanksgiving dinner. When my parents and siblings and all of the grandchildren get together, it’s a crowd – 30 people! We have lots to do, and success depends on good planning.

The Wednesday Market is an excellent source for Thanksgiving dinner ingredients. Just remember that pick up during the week of Thanksgiving is on Tuesday, Nov. 22, between 3 and 6 p.m.

I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy this unusually warm weather today. We’ll be at the soccer fields this afternoon.

Thank you for supporting locally grown agriculture. We’ll see you at the Market.

Thanks,

Beverly
