Hello,
I hope this finds you all doin well. I was sitting here checking my emails wondering why we had no locally grown orders when I realized like a dum dum, I didn’t send out the email.sunday my pigs decided they would play hide and seek. I spent most of the day trying to coax them back. After about 5 hours and a visit from animal control they all came home. The whole ordeal left me exhausted ad that allowed me to sleep like a baby when done.

Anyway, we are open! With lots of good stuff. After I post this I will adding collards, winter squash, mushrooms and more to the list so order up.

GFM :  Happy Halloween Bash

We are once again under the Livestock Pavilion of the Fairgrounds this Saturday, Oct. 10th. Keep reading for our special event returning this year.

8th Annual Halloween Bash to be held at Greeneville’s Oldest, Established Farmers Market, Greeneville Farmers Market, Inc. on Oct. 17th from 8 am to 1 pm.

• Kids: Bring a Painted Pumpkin and/or a Scarecrow to enter into contest for Prizes
• Kids: Best Costume Contest
• Adults: Wear your Best Costume for a Prize
• Judging is between 11 am and Noon, Prizes to be awarded at Noon.
• Kids: Please have your Pumpkins/Scarecrows entered no later than 10 am on Saturday.
• BAKE SALE, Animal-Theme Jewelry, and Drawings for Prizes. Proceeds go toward sponsoring homeless pets and helping free them from Animal Control.
• Other Produce and Craft Vendors
• Music
• Rural Resources will Be Selling Candy Apples as a Fundraiser for their Teen Programs
• There will be a RETURN challenge game of Corn Hole starting @ 10 am….Rural Resources Kids vs GFM Vendors" Donations accepted for Both Non-Profits. Come cheer on Both Teams.

DeForest, WI:  Availability for Week of October 4

This week the market will again have potatoes, greens, and more.
There should be squash and pumpkins available at pickup. The warm season crops are coming to an end soon. Depending on the farmer’s work load for the week, there could be more surprises Friday afternoon. Last Friday there were over 25 items listed on the “board” to add to your order.
Remember, you don’t need to order, just show up during market hours- this week is the last week of 3-6pm. Friday October 16 the market is open from 4-6pm to give the farmers more time to harvest.

Those of you with Forest Run Farm CSA punch cards, please try to use them soon.

We hope your weekend was wonderful and that you are enjoying a nice spell of dry weather. Your Tullahoma Locally Grown Market is open and ready for your orders. Please remember to place your orders between now and Wednesday at noon.

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse has a Fall Special on perennials, herb plants, and ferns. If you buy 3 you will reeve one of equal or lesser value free. When you place your order, be sure to make a note regarding which plant you would like for free (name 3 choices). Fall is the best time of year to plant perennials, so get these while they last!

Fuel So Good Coffee Roasters has Jumbo Pretzel Rolls, English Breakfast Toasting Bread, Multigrain Loaves, and more.
